Initial Psychiatric Evaluation of ages 5 – 17, the initial evaluation is a two-step process designed to gain a deep understanding of your child’s needs and concerns.
A 30-minute, virtual, parent-only session via telehealth, focused on gathering background information and discussing specific concerns regarding your child.
Cost: $200
A 60-minute session involving both the parent(s) and the patient to further assess and discuss the treatment plan moving forward.
Cost: $400
Initial Psychiatric Evaluation of ages 18 – 65, will be conducted into a single session.
A 60-minute session involving the patient focused on assessing, evaluating, and discussing a treatment plan.
Cost: $400
We offer various follow-up services to support ongoing care and progress:
Ideal for regular check-ins, medication management, adjusting treatment plans, and reviewing progress for ages 5 - 65.
Cost: $200
A more in-depth session for parents to discuss their child’s care plan, progress, or any emerging concerns without the child present.
Cost: $200
A longer session for more detailed evaluations, including more complex concerns or treatment adjustments. This extended session provides therapeutic support for patients, focusing on emotional healing, behavioral challenges, and personal growth.
Cost: $400
An emergency appointment in psychiatry is when a patient is needing to be seen within 24 hours or less, involving situations where a patient is experiencing significant distress or acute symptoms that cannot wait for the next scheduled appointment. These emergencies often pose immediate risks to the patient or others.
Cost: $250
A deposit of $100 is required at the time of scheduling your appointment.
The remaining balance is due at the time of your appointment.
A valid credit or debit card will be securely kept on file for all patients. This card will be used for payment of services and any applicable fees in accordance with this policy.
Non-Refundable Deposit: Deposits are non-refundable if the patient does not attend the scheduled appointment without providing prior notice.
Transfer of Deposit: Deposits may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment if the change is made more than 24 hours before the original appointment time.
Changes Within 24 Hours: For appointment changes made less than 24 hours in advance, documentation explaining the need for the change is required. If adequate reasoning/documentation is not provided, the deposit will be non refundable. Refunds or deposit transfers under these circumstances will be at the physician’s discretion.
Full payment must be completed before services are rendered. Services will not be provided to patients with outstanding balances at the time of their appointment.
Dr. Bracy-Lewis does not bill insurance directly and is considered an out-of-network provider. Upon request, she can provide a detailed “superbill” containing treatment codes, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
Most insurance plans typically cover 50% to 80% of the costs for out-of-network providers.
Please be aware that Dr. Bracy-Lewis cannot accept direct payment from patients enrolled in Medicare.
